Cory Chisel & The Wandering Sons
Sometimes, a great band hits you at the right moment. Cory Chisel & The Wandering Sons is that band for us right now. Hailing from Wisconsin, this band has a sound reminiscent of a “Nebraska-era Springsteen.” With help from Brendan Benson of the Raconteurs and love to his Christian roots, Cory Chisel provides a great album with the recently-released Death Won’t Send a Letter.

The Huffington Post reviews Cory Chisel here.

Check out Brendan Benson & Cory Chisel do a little Tom Petty here.

Florence + The Machine – It’s the Rise of a Great Artist
We always love our British musicians across the pond, and this week is no different. Florence + The Machine is a great find – a woman with a different approach to music who goes less soul and more everything else. Florence Welch, one of the best-selling UK artists in ‘09, has a big voice and a big sound, especially on her new album Lungs. We take a look at yet another British songstress who makes us believe in awesome music yet again.

Check out a cover of Beyonce’s “Halo” here. Seriously.

Some people really like the Lungs album.

Songs to Download:
1. “Kiss with a Fist”
2. “Rabbit Heart (Raise it Up)”
3. “Cosmic”
